Change the Internet Explorer Title
Here's a tip to change the default text ("Microsoft Internet Explorer") shown in your Internet Explorer window's title
- Start Regedit by clicking on 'Run' in the start menu and typing "regedit".
- Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
- Right click on the 'Main' key and choose New, String Value. Name the new string "Window Title".
- Double click "Window Title" and enter the text you want to appear in the title bar.
*Caution! Always backup your registry before making any changes, especially if you are not familiar with Regedit.
