PodCasting and RSS

Have you heard the words "Subscribe to our Podcast" lately? What about RSS? Podcasting is new method for distributing media over the internet. Essentially, when you "subscribe" you are signing up to receive automatic downloads of content from a feed that is either in RSS or Atom syndication format. These feeds can be providing video, audio, news headlines and articles, and lots of other content. You don't need an iPod to receive podcasts, but you will need an RSS aggregator, which is software that "reads the feeds".
